Shenise Johnson - Rush-Henrietta High School - Player
A three-time all-state selection, she is seventh among Section V's all-time leading scorers in girls basketball. Rush-Henrietta won three state titles during her time, before she moved on to the University of Miami.
Jason Amore - Friendship High School - Player
The fourth-leading all-time scorer in Section V boys basketball history with 2,332 points from 1989-93. He was 13th in state history and second-team all-state after his senior year. Member of Alfred University Hall of Fame.
Everett Babcock - South Seneca High School - Coach
His 2002-03 Falcons team won the Class C girls basketball state championship. South Seneca won Section V titles five consecutive years, 1999-2003.
Jessica Chapin - Honeoye Falls-Lima High School - Player

Chris Connell - Wilson Magnet High School - Coach
The first varsity boys basketball coach at Wilson, a state champion in its third season as a team in 1986. Led six Section V champions with a record of 347-262, including four state Final Four appearances.
Tony Douglas - Madison High School - Player
Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester team member in basketball and football during 1971 and 1972. Played at Monroe Community College, where the Tribunes were 25-3 during one of his seasons. He later played football at West Virginia State.
Chuck Fowler - Mount Morris High School - Player
Named to two all-state small schools teams during his three seasons, which included Section V titles in 1974 and 1975. He averaged 20 points and 20 rebounds in 1976. St. John Fisher Hall of Fame member.
Jeff Gifford - Section V Boys' Basketball - Committee Member
Contributed as a sponsor of Section V boys basketball for decades. Coordinated the section's Southern Tier region. Assistant coach for Prattsburgh boys and girls teams for decades.
Tom LaDelfa - Warsaw High School - Coach
His teams won 242 games, including Section V championships in 1997 and 1998, when the Tigers reached the state final four. The 1998 Section V Coach of the Year, an award that included all classifications.
Larry Lane - Cardinal Mooney High School - Player
One of the key players of the powerful Cardinal Mooney teams of the mid-1970s. Member of the 1974 AGR team. Played in Broome County at the junior college-level before going into the Nazareth Hall of Fame.
John Miranda - Newark High School - Player
Leader of Section V champion teams in 1978 and 1979. The 1978 team went to the state Final Four, and the following year, he was a sectional tournament MVP. Scored 46 points in a game before playing at LeMoyne.
Rick Page - IAABO - Official
Member of the International Association of Approved Basketball Officials for 43 years, including a role as ratings chairman. The 1992 Section V Official of the Year also worked at the collegiate level.
Jack Purificato - Section V Boys' Basketball - Committee Member
Founded the Section V Basketball Hall of Fame in 2000. Joined Section V boys basketball committee in 1985, was chairman from 1999-2018. Also was an assistant coach at SUNY Brockport.
Megan Shoniker - Greece Arcadia High School - Player
Section V's eighth-leading all-time scorer. Class AA state champion in 2004. She was the Monroe County league's all-time leading scorer when she graduated in 2007, before playing at Rhode Island.
Demond Stewart - Greece Olympia High School - Player
Second-team all-state after scoring his 1,000th point during the 1995-96 season. Then it was on to a career with accolades at Niagara University and professionally.
Mark Storm - Honeoye High School - Coach
His girls basketball teams won 405 games, including three Section V Championships. The 2006 Bulldogs went to the state Final Four. Member of the Section V girls basketball committee for 27 years.
John "Chip" Tatro - Palmyra-Macedon High School - Coach
The Fairport resident, who now referees girls basketball, led four Section V championship boys teams. The last, in 2005, won a state title. There were three state Final Four appearances among 399 wins in 34 seasons.
Merrick Volpe - Clyde-Savannah - Player
The 13th-leading scorer in Section V girls basketball history with 2,136 points. A two-time Section V tournament MVP after leading the Golden Eagles to championships in 2004 and 2005.
